Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Clinical Nurse with Endoscopy experience to join our Endoscopy Nursing team. You will provide skilled, compassionate care across routine to complex cases, perform endoscopy with biopsy/colonoscopy, and collaborate with the nursing team to develop care plans.

Qualified candidates hold ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL from an accredited school, have endoscopy charge nursing experience, and hold an active MD RN license (or compact) with BLS.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Endoscopy Charge Nursing Experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across routine to complex needs.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.

Unit Highlights

• EGD w/biopsy/colon/EUS/ERCP.
• 3 room 16 bays Endoscopy - 22 bed Phase I & II PACU.
• Required: Endoscopy Nursing experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
