MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse for Endoscopy. You will deliver skilled care in a busy Endoscopy unit with biopsy/ERCP capabilities and various PACU bays. Full-time and PRN options are available for experienced Endoscopy nurses; active MD RN license and BLS required.

The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a dynamic setting.

Formación

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Endoscopy Charge Nursing Experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and BLS required.

Unit Highlights

• EGD w/biopsy/colon/EUS/ERCP.
• 3 room 16 bays Endoscopy - 22 bed Phase I & II PACU.
• Full-time and PRN available for experienced Endo nurses.
• Required: Endoscopy Nursing experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Endoscopy Charge Nursing Experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of

USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
