Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Technician to assist during GI procedures and protect patients from hazards. You will maintain sterile fields, handle specimens per policy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates with GI tech experience preferred. This role is on-site in Overland Park, KS, with non-exempt status and active patient advocacy responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Prior GI Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during endoscopy procedures.
• Protect patient from injury and exposure to hazards.
• Operate equipment safely and report unsafe conditions.
• Advocate for patient safety and privacy.
• Handle specimens per facility policies.
• Maintain sterile supplies and prepare instruments.
• Assist with room turnover and post-procedure cleaning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent

Prior GI Tech experience (preferred)
