NKC Health in Kansas City seeks a GI Tech to assist with endoscopic procedures and provide safe pre- and post-procedure care for inpatients and outpatients. You will collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and physicians to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The role includes handling endoscopic equipment, reprocessing, maintenance, and following infection prevention guidelines, with in-house education opportunities. BLS required; CNA preferred.

Qualificações

• Infection prevention guidelines knowledge.
• Endoscopic instrumentation knowledge.
• High-level disinfection reprocessing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in direct patient care during elective or emergent endoscopic procedures.
• Support endoscopic procedures and ensure proper care, reprocessing, and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with RN/Charge Nurse and Physician to promote patient safety and comfort.
