HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge Nurse) to lead nursing care in the Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy area. You will collaborate with a management team to monitor, direct, and evaluate care delivery, supporting the organization’s vision and patient experience goals.

Responsibilities include staffing, performance evaluations, and implementing nursing strategies to improve throughput and outcomes while maintaining compliance with procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) credential.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to support throughput and high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with management.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and better outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Support engagement by implementing nursing strategies like hourly rounds and nurse rounds.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff; support development and discipline actions as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Assist with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
