Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. You will provide expert clinical care in a fast-paced procedural setting and support a collaborative culture focused on patient outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a nursing diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), current BLS, and prior endoscopy experience. You will work with physicians, document results, and administer medications per orders.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida Registered Nurse license or valid compact license with active FL RN within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Endoscopy nursing experience strongly preferred.
• National specialty board certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
• Strong critical thinking, excellent service and interpersonal communication, and PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Endoscopy patients pre, intra, and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative Endoscopy procedures.
• Maintain and review patient records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
