Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Team. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality care in a procedural environment and support colleagues across the unit.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a nursing diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. Endoscopy experience is highly valued, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Prior Endoscopy nursing experience highly preferred.
• National specialty board certification required within 6 months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Endoscopy patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
