Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with flexible scopes (within last 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years in a Sterile Processing Unit or similar setting.
• Must obtain advanced certification within 6 months of hire (CER or CFER).
• Maintain certifications through CEUs as a condition of employment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• 60% - Complex scope/endoscope processing.
• 10% - Leadership, resource management and customer service.
• 10% - Professional development and continuing education.
• 20% - Instrument tracking system and other sterile processing duties.
