Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an Instrument Technician to clean and reprocess endoscopes and accessories, operate the reprocessing equipment, and keep a safe, clean work area in line with infection control policies.

The role may also involve assisting with cleaning other patient care equipment like gurneys and stretchers, following established infection control procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of formal or on-the-job endoscope reprocessing training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and reprocess a variety of endoscopes and accessories.
• Operate the reprocessing machine and ensure proper function.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in accordance with infection control policies.
• Assist with cleaning other patient care equipment such as gurneys and stretchers per infection control procedures.
