New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) seeks a part-time Endodontist to join NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Qualifications

• Endodontist with DMD or DDS.
• Active New York State Dental License.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose oro-dental pain and infection using imaging and evaluation techniques.
• Remove diseased or dead pulp tissue from inside the root canals, clean, disinfect and seal the tooth.
• Perform apicoectomies, root canal retreatments, and complex dental trauma.
• Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Supervise, evaluate and provide feedback to dental residents.

New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding a part-time Endodontist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services.
