Job summary

New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is seeking a part-time Endodontist for NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY. You will examine, diagnose, and treat oro-dental pain and infections, including root canal therapies and complex procedures, while supervising dental residents.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose oro-dental pain and infection using imaging and evaluation techniques.
• Remove diseased or dead pulp tissue, clean and disinfect the root canal space, and seal the tooth.
• Perform endodontic surgeries such as apicoectomy, retreatments, and complex trauma cases.
• Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Supervise and provide feedback to dental residents; conduct lectures and case presentations.
• Contribute to resident evaluations and ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and CODA standards.

New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding a part-time Endodontist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. Opportunity Details

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $57,750* based on 10.5-hour work week.

Additional Benefits:

• Projected bonus of up to $10,500(based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
