Job summary

West San Jose Modern Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians with the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with exams, take radiographs, and ensure clean, sterile operatory conditions.

You will work closely with front office and specialists to maintain smooth scheduling and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include charting, assisting dentists, and participating in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma and state-mandated certification/licensure requirements.
• Must have and maintain required licenses/registrations per state.
• Must be able to travel to multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide efficient care.
• Perform radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness per guidelines.
• Maintain supplies and manage tray setups for procedures.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front/back office for smooth schedules.
• Record chart notes and patient health history in the digital system.
• Support clinicians by presenting treatment records and consents.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
• Uphold company culture, values and PPE processes.
