Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Specialty Dental Assistant to support clinicians in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics or Pediatric dentistry. Duties include preparing patients, assisting dentists, radiographs, instrument sterilization and charting in the digital system.

The role requires travel to multiple offices per day and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance. Certificate in a related field or equivalent is preferred, and a patient-focused, collaborative attitude is

Qualifications

• Ability to respond to common inquiries from patients, staff, vendors, or other members of the business community.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as manuals, instructions, and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-permitted duties for Dental Auxiliaries.
• Escort patients to the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Communicate with front and back office teams to keep the orthodontists' schedule running smoothly.
