Castro Valley Smiles Dentistry in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE). You will prepare patients, assist dentists, and maintain a clean, cheerful operatory to foster Patient for Life.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED; state certification/licensure as required
• Recognizes state-specific requirements for licensure and travel as needed
• Ability to interpret policies and maintain patient confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide efficient, quality care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; maintain a clean operatory per guidelines.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed by the clinician.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies across operatories.
• Keep patients' mouths dry and clear using suction as needed.
• Record patient charting and clinician notes in the digital chart.
• Provide health history and treatment records to clinician prior to treatment.
• Demonstrate PPE and participate in daily team huddles and meetings.
