Tryon Medical Partners in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Nurse for the Endocrinology SouthPark team. The role involves direct patient care, care planning, IV starts, med administration, and coordination with physicians to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include triage by phone and in person, education on insulin use, and extensive documentation in the EHR. BSN encouraged; non-clinical duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• RN degree and nursing training from an accredited school.
• Current state registered nurse license.
• CPR certificate; BLS/ACLS as required.
• Hepatitis B vaccine and flu vaccine form.
• TB test required; vaccination records may be provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and evaluation.
• Assist physicians and staff in coordinating patient care; act as liaison among patients, staff, and physicians.
• Direct patient services: consent, history, vitals, injections, IVs, med administration, and charting.
• Triage patients by telephone or in person; determine urgency and direct to appropriate care site.
• Document care using EHR; assist with orders and paperwork; support emergencies/triage as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, insulin use, and disease management.
• Maintain patient records, quality data, and compliance with standards.
