Job summary

Indiana University Health's Endocrinology Clinic in Indiana is seeking an experienced RN to join as a Triage RN. You will manage outpatient telephone triage, assess patient symptoms, handle a high volume of calls and messages, and coordinate care with endocrinology physicians and a dietitian to educate patients for long-term health.

We welcome upcoming graduates; the clinic operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, supports four physicians and a dietitian, and offers a sign-on bonus for full-time

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year RN triage experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLCRN.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• Ambulatory setting experience preferred (2 years).
• Knowledge of procedures for the RN in clinical areas and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient telephone triage.
• Assess patient symptoms via triage conversations.
• Handle high volume calls/messages and coordinate care with providers.
• Provide education to patients to impact long-term health.
• Coordinate with physicians and a dietitian in endocrinology care.
