Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Endocrinology team. You will educate patients on diabetes devices, troubleshoot, and support daily care for a high-volume clinic with 15–20 patients daily.

Working alongside endocrinologists, APPs and nurses, the role emphasizes education, problem-solving and collaborative care, with opportunities for CDCES certification and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required for RN licensure.
• Knowledge of diabetes and diabetes devices is a plus.
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Support diabetes device education and troubleshooting for patients.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, APPs and nurses to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives as part of a diverse team.
