Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian to support the endocrinology clinic and inpatient diabetes/endocrinology coverage in Columbus, Ohio. The role includes weekend and holiday on-call rotation and an interdisciplinary care approach.

The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Nutrition, be a licensed RD in Ohio, and have AND registration with licensure; pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the State of Ohio is required.
• AND registration and licensure to practice as a dietitian from the Ohio Board of Dietetics; OR licensed permit with RD exam within 3 months of employment.
• Clinical pediatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies the Nutrition Care Process and workflow elements to provide person-centered nutrition care.
• Provides education on healthy nutrition, obesity and disease prevention; and other topics.
• Coordinates programs in schools, the community and hospital, representing Nationwide Children’s Hospital and building partnerships.
