Job summary

Berger Health System in Columbus, OH, is seeking a registered nurse to join the Endocrinology team. Provide general nursing care, diabetes device education, and patient support for insulin pumps and glucose monitors in a 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday schedule.

• Knowledge of diabetes and diabetes devices is a plus.
• CDCES certification is a plus.
• RN licensure in Ohio and BLS certification required or in scope.

• Assess patient health status and nursing needs.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Lead process improvement activities to support quality and safety.
• Provide device education and troubleshooting for diabetes devices.
