Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required with clinical training.
• Experience in academic or industry clinical research settings.
• Familiarity with GCP and regulatory submissions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Lead for clinical trials with study strategy and design oversight.
• Monitor safety of enrolled subjects and ensure scientific integrity.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development Execution teams.
• Prepare regulatory documents and analyses for submissions.
• Act as liaison between Clinical Development and internal Vertex groups.
• Represent Vertex to external medical personnel in protocol development and reporting.
