Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Board certification/eligibility in a specialty is highly desired.
• Typically requires 10 years of basic or clinical research experience.
• Experience with clinical trial design, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leads development of study protocols, brochures, and development plans with minimal guidance.
• Serves on cross-functional Study Execution Teams for assigned trials.
• Prepares regulatory documents for submissions including INDs/CTAs and safety reports.
• Provides clinical input to SAP, CSR, ICF, and CRF documents; liaises with internal groups.
• Represents Vertex to external medical personnel in protocol development and study conduct.
• Performs other duties related to clinical programs.
