Job summary

You will collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and other internal teams, contribute to external reporting, and support other programs as needed.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent ex-US medical degree.
• Typically requires 8 years of basic or clinical research experience.
• Board certification/eligibility highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Leads study protocol development and major trial documents with minimal guidance.
• Serves on cross-functional Study Execution Teams for efficient trial execution.
• Supports regulatory documents for submissions (INDs/CTAs) and safety reports.
• Provides scientific input to analysis plans and study reports.
• Acts as liaison between Clinical Development and internal Vertex groups.
• Represents Vertex to external medical personnel in protocols and reporting.
• Performs other duties related to Clinical Development.
