Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support endocrinology clinics in the Greater Charlotte area. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, history, and assisting clinicians with procedures and testing.

You will perform routine lab tasks and document outcomes in the EMR system. The ideal candidate has two years of clinical experience, a completed MA program or DD214 alternative, and a current BLS.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical Medical Assistant experience.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or DD214 in lieu of program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs, history and screenings.
• Assist providers with procedures and venipuncture as ordered.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests and manage lab paperwork per standards.
• Administer medications and vaccines following safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and stocked work environment and complete documentation.
