Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service and/or clerical experience.
• Experience with scheduling, Epic, and medical terminology is strongly preferred.
• Heavy phone-based role with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures excellent customer service in a high call volume setting.
• Verifies key patient information (insurance, demographics) for safety, charging, and billing accuracy.
• Answers calls, directs calls, and delivers telephone encounters in Epic.
• Schedules all new and follow-up patient appointments for a subset of clinics; reschedules when possible.
• Supports coworkers and participates in QA to reduce errors.
