Job summary

Mercy South Surgery Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process and to support pre-op and PACU activities. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality, coordinate care with other departments, and evaluate care effectiveness for the assigned patients.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license (state or compact) is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or in a compact licensure state.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
