Job summary

Mercy South Surgery Center in Missouri seeks a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with departments and upholding patient rights and confidentiality. You will evaluate care effectiveness and maintain Mercy Service Standards.

The position features four 10-hour shifts, no weekends, holidays or on-call. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, with an RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure and BLS certification within 30

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain accountability for care provided.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers and adjust as needed.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
