Job summary

VERSANT Media seeks a Workplace Engineering Manager for End User Compute to architect and lead a global endpoint strategy across Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will set platform direction, define standards, and govern end-user workspace tooling while partnering with Cyber Security and Workplace Product & Operations.

Leading 14+ engineers across onshore and offshore teams, you will drive security-by-design and scalable governance for 9,000+ devices in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large end user compute or workplace engineering functions.
• Deep technical understanding of the Microsoft end user ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Office 365, Windows 365).
• Experience with VDI and virtual workspace solutions (VMware Horizon, AWS Workspaces, Parallels).
• Experience governing enterprise storage and collaboration platforms (OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox).
• Proven track record with endpoint management and governance platforms (Intune, JAMF, Nexthink/TeamViewer DEX).
• Expertise across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints; strong security posture awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural strategy, platform direction, and governance for end user compute.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering organization (14+ engineers) across onshore/offshore.
• Embed security by design across endpoint platforms, identity, data protection, observability, and compliance.
