Job summary

Apple’s N1 wireless chip powers connectivity across every new iPhone, and a Senior Wireless SOC Verification Engineer will own verification end-to-end from test planning to signoff. You’ll work across PMU, CPU, on-chip debug, PCIe, bus fabric, boot/secure-boot sequencing, and peripherals like SPI/UART, using simulation, formal methods, and UPF for low-power verification.

AI-assisted verification will be explored to determine where it adds value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM required.
• Experience with PCIe, Bus Fabric, NOC, AHB/AXI in UVM environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design early to shape the verification plan before RTL lands.
• Debug corner-case failures and build coverage/proofs.
• Verify low-power design intent using UPF within your scope.
• Grow into formal verification as projects call for it; ramp-up support provided.
• Own verification methodologies in your area and set the approach.
• Verify end-to-end WiFi and Bluetooth traffic flows up to SOC integration.
• Support post-silicon bring-up when needed.
