Job summary

Giga Energy in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to own end-to-end programs from design to shipment. This role operates in a high-velocity, high-consequence manufacturing environment where total ownership and relentless attention to detail are essential.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build master schedules, manage risks, and interface with customers to uphold delivery dates. International travel (China, Mexico) is required 15–20%.

Qualifications

• Track record of owning complex, multi-function programs end to end in fast-moving, high-consequence environments.
• Deep comfort with BOMs, engineering changes, procurement lead times, and production scheduling.
• Ability to build and run master program schedules (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) used to drive decisions.
• Strong technical fluency to read drawings and discuss BOMs with engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel internationally (15–20%) when programs require.

Responsibilities

• Own full program lifecycle from design freeze through materials procurement, production, quality release, and shipment to the customer.
• Build and maintain master program schedules integrating milestones, procurement lead times, production slots, quality gates, and shipping/logistics.
• Run the cadence: daily/weekly program stand-ups, cross-functional syncs, and executive status reporting.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to hit delivery timelines and provide concise updates.
• Negotiate priority, resources, and trade-offs across functions and with suppliers.
