Job summary

Giga Energy in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to own large-scale programs from design release to customer shipment. This role is the single source of truth for schedule, risks, and dependencies, requiring proactive issue resolution and relentless attention to detail.

You'll lead cross-functional efforts across materials, procurement, engineering changes, production scheduling, quality, and logistics, while communicating clearly with customers and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience owning complex multi-function programs end to end in fast-moving, high-consequence environments.
• Deep comfort with BOM, engineering change processes, procurement lead times, and production scheduling.
• Ability to build and run master program schedules used for decision-making.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional influence without formal authority.
• Willingness to travel internationally (China, Mexico) 15-20%.

Responsibilities

• Own full program lifecycle from design freeze through materials procurement, production, quality release, and shipment.
• Build and maintain master program schedules with milestones, lead times, and logistics.
• Lead daily/weekly stand-ups, cross-functional syncs, and executive status updates.
• Coordinate across materials, procurement, engineering changes, production scheduling, quality, logistics, and customer timelines to drive the program.
• Translate design changes into operational impact, adjust plans, and identify critical path risks.
• Escalate risks early with data-driven recommendations and mitigation.
• Interface with customers on status and provide clear, no-spin updates.
