Job summary

Versaterm is seeking an Implementation Specialist to lead full-cycle deployments of our public safety software, mentoring juniors and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This role drives quality outcomes with minimal direction and supports pre-sales activities such as demonstrations and scoping.

The position requires 3–5+ years in software implementation or related client-facing work, a Bachelor's in IT/CS/Business, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 3–5+ years in software implementation or technical client-facing role.
• Public safety or government tech experience preferred.
• Understanding of implementation lifecycle and project delivery.
• Ability to lead client engagements from start to finish.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience using project management software and documenting implementations.
• PMI certification is a plus.
• Eligible to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations including scoping, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Assess client use cases to configure tailored systems and delivery strategies.
• Define and manage implementation plans to meet scope, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate client meetings and training, explaining technical concepts clearly.
• Identify and resolve technical issues with product and support teams.
• Mentor junior Specialists on delivery practices and client engagement.
• Contribute to process improvements and tooling for implementations.
• Support pre-sales activities such as demos, scoping, and proposals.
• Travel to client sites as required by project needs.
