Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer for a permanent, on-site role in Lakeland, FL. You will own end-to-end automation projects from PLC programming to commissioning, with a clear path to technical development and project ownership.

You will work with a well-established control systems integrator, programming PLCs from scratch, designing control panels, supporting installation and startup, and troubleshooting on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Controls / automation background with PLC programming from scratch.
• Experience with control panel design and instrumentation.
• Comfortable contributing across full project lifecycle (design through startup/testing).

Responsibilities

• Program PLCs from scratch to deliver complete controls solutions.
• Control panel design, instrumentation, and support of panel build.
• Support installation, startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
