Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a Release Management Engineer to own the release process from engineering to production, safeguarding BOM integrity and ECO disposition across units in build, inventory, and shipped. You will coordinate across design, supply chain, quality, and production, ensuring proper revision control and smooth handoffs Experience with Arena, Teamcenter, Windchill and ERP/MES integrations is a plus.

This role is based in Austin, TX with on-site responsibilities and a focus on manufacturing

Qualifications

• Own release or configuration management for manufactured hardware (modules, vehicles, machinery).
• Administer ECOs across live production and disposition changes across units in build, inventory, and shipped.
• Maintain BOM integrity across as-designed, as-built, and as-maintained records.
• Identify immature releases before floor impact: missing tolerances or requirements.
• Cross-discipline collaboration with design, supply chain, quality, and production throughout revision state.
• Hands-on with PLM platforms (Arena, Teamcenter, Windchill) and ERP/MES integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the release process from engineering to production: drawings, BOMs, and specs approved and released to manufacturing at the correct revision.
• Run configuration and change management: ECOs/ECNs, revision history, changes across in-flight units and inventories.
• Keep BOM integrity across systems and ensure PLM syncing to ERP/MES.
• Gate release readiness: ensure drawings, tolerances, and specs are complete before release.
• Drive release communication across design, supply chain, quality, and production.
