Job summary

Fluidstack is building modular data centers and seeks an experienced Release/Configuration Manager to own the end-to-end release process, from engineering drawings to manufacturing.

You will govern ECOs, maintain revision history, and ensure BOM integrity across systems while collaborating with design, supply chain, quality, and production to prevent misalignments in a fast-growing environment. This role is critical to maintaining product quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Owned release or configuration management for manufactured hardware.
• Experience handling ECOs across live production and know how to disposition a change across units already in build, sitting in inventory, and already shipped.
• BOMs reconcile: as-designed, as-built, and as-maintained stay in sync.
• You catch immature releases before the floor does and prevent incomplete drawings or missing tolerances from passing.
• Bonus: hands-on with PLM platforms (Arena, Teamcenter, Windchill) and ERP/MES integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the release process from engineering to production: drawings, BOMs, and specs complete, approved, and released to manufacturing at the right revision, every time.
• Run configuration and change management: administer ECOs and ECNs, control revision history, and disposition changes across in-flight units, inventory, and supplier orders.
• Keep BOM integrity across systems: ensure PLM and ERP/MES systems stay in sync and discrepancies are resolved.
• Gate release readiness: ensure drawings and tolerances are complete and long-lead procurement flags are addressed before release.
• Drive release communication across design, supply chain, quality, and production: publish release schedules and impact assessments.
