Job summary

The Morning Star Company in Woodland, CA is seeking a Full Stack Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Developer to design, build, and support enterprise analytics across the Fabric platform. This role owns the analytics lifecycle from data ingestion and modeling to dashboard development and user adoption.

The ideal candidate has strong data engineering, BI, and stakeholder engagement skills and can deliver scalable analytics to support operations and strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Intelligence or Analytics development experience.
• 3+ years of Power BI development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL development and data modeling skills.
• Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Experience developing and supporting semantic models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Microsoft Fabric solutions including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory pipelines, Notebooks, and Semantic Models.
• Build and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and executive scorecards.
• Design dimensional data models and enterprise semantic layers.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric, SQL.
• Integrate data from ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, customer service, and operational systems.
• Partner directly with colleagues to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, and performance optimization best practices.
• Support enterprise reporting modernization initiatives.
