Job summary

Reliance Wholesale Inc. in Miami seeks an experienced Event Manager to develop, coordinate and execute events from concept to closeout. You will own assigned events, ranging from marketing activations to galas and conferences, delivering seamless experiences on schedule and within budget.

You will lead client relations, manage venues and vendors, and supervise junior staff. The role offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days and two remote days, plus commissions on event fees.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
• Mastery of multi-tasking under tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of advertising, marketing, public relations, business, or economics.
• Solid computer skills and basic AI literacy.
• Excellent organization skills and reliable work habits.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for assigned clients.
• Attend client, strategy, and planning meetings; lead venue walkthroughs.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage event budgets.
• Submit invoices and vendor payments via Wrike.
• Oversee end-to-end event execution and on-site management.
• Supervise admin coordinators or junior staff as needed.
• Collaborate in a teamwork-oriented environment and ensure follow-through.
