Job summary

X Energy, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an Execution Project Manager to lead end-to-end equipment package execution from design through delivery, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, and technical requirements while adhering to SHEQS standards.

The role collaborates with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify risks and mitigation plans, report status to leadership, and manage changes and stakeholder expectations across all project stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required (Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management or related)
• Typically demonstrated by 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience managing technical, equipment‑related, or manufacturing/fabrication projects
• Strong understanding of equipment design, fabrication, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
• Experience with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and complex technical interfaces
• Proficiency with project management tools, reporting systems, and documentation practices
• Strong communication skills with ability to provide executive‑level reporting
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all stakeholders to design, fabricate, and deliver packages on schedule and within budget
• Manage package complexity and adjust execution strategies as project conditions evolve
• Ensure configuration management and change processes are followed
• Apply design-for-manufacturing principles for FOAK components
• Align with manufacturing, transportation, installation, and commissioning teams for end-user requirements
• Ensure quality requirements are documented and executed at each project stage
• Track bid basis cost and schedule performance and mitigate deviations
• Provide status updates and forward-looking assessments to the Project Management Team
