Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified Project Manager to lead end-to-end drug development initiatives in the United States. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to craft strategies and drive timely execution, ensuring integrated project plans are approved and executed.

The role emphasizes building robust project schedules, maintaining critical project data in PM systems, and proactively identifying risks while escalating when needed. Strong collaboration and meeting facilitation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in a scientific or applied discipline preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management or a related role required.
• Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA, Ph.D., PharmD) preferred.
• Product development experience strongly preferred (ideally in pharmaceutical/biotech industry).
• Experience and knowledge of clinical drug development strongly preferred; including development phases and cross-functional contributions.
• PMP certification and/or formal coursework in project management strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end drug development process including routine projects.
• Driving cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive strategies and drive execution of aligned plans to achieve on-time delivery.
• Guiding teams through the creation, approval, and execution of integrated project plans.
• Integrating strategic and tactical input from disciplines as applicable to the project.
• Building and maintaining project schedules and critical project information in enterprise project management systems and databases.
• Proactively identifying risks, addressing uncertainty, and escalating appropriately.
• Preparing for, facilitating, and documenting outcomes of team meetings.
