Job summary

Tenera Labs, Inc is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer in San Francisco to translate client context into robust simulation environments. You will be closest to customers, scoping deployments, configuring simulations, and delivering results that drive business decisions.

This role requires hands-on engineering, building data pipelines and API connectors, and collaborating with product teams to improve deployment playbooks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with API, database, and cloud experience.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Product instinct to spot issues before customers notice.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and defining deployment playbooks.
• Experience with experimentation platforms or data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own customer deployments end to end from scoping to delivery.
• Architect simulation environments reflecting client products and user segments.
• Build domain models for each customer.
• Write production-quality integration code and data pipelines.
• Close feedback loop between customers and product to influence roadmap.
• Maintain a high quality bar; ensure simulations reflect observed reality.
