Job summary

Flow Engineering in San Francisco is seeking a Deployment Architect to turn signed deals into sustained usage by deploying and configuring Flow for customers, migrating requirements from legacy tools, and redesigning workflows with customer engineers.

The role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and the customer, focusing on adoption and change management across hardware programs. This is an early-team role with high impact.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable diagnosing before prescribing and building trust with customers.
• Experience driving organizational change within engineering teams.
• Ability to translate between hardware engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Run deployments end to end: kickoff, migration, configuration, workflow redesign, training, and adoption
• Drive organizational change inside customer engineering orgs: find champions, work blockers, and make adoption stick after you leave the room
• Define what success looks like for each deployment, instrument adoption, diagnose stalls, and run get-well plans before renewal risk shows up
• Design each customer's Flow setup around their programs, and direct integration work with our software-focused deployment engineers
• Be the product team's eyes and ears in the field: what you see in deployments shapes what we build next
• Partner with the reps who own the commercial side of the book, and with AEs when deployments surface expansion
• Help build the deployment methodology: playbooks, implementation guides, and training materials for the team that comes after you
