Job summary

Reducto, Inc. is seeking a founding Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy and tune our systems for enterprise-scale customers in SF.

You will bridge our core product with customer needs, building prototypes and demos that showcase capabilities. You'll collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to convert trials into contracts, and from contracts to expansions, shaping product direction with insights from real-world use.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience deploying software in production settings—ideally with enterprise or regulated customers.
• You're excellent with Python and can navigate Bash and infrastructure as needed.
• Tools: Build your own tools as needed—like a quick Streamlit app to test hypotheses or create a dataset.
• Approach: A quantitative approach to building products; hands-on with the full development lifecycle, from ideation to shipping to users.

Responsibilities

• Building whatever is necessary to drive customer value—eval apps, customized agents, or modifications to an existing product surface.
• Collaborating hand-in-hand with Sales and Customer Success to land prospects and enable customers.
• Building close relationships with customers and knowing key stakeholders, particularly technical ones.
• Creating diagnostics, dashboards, and eval harnesses to measure performance and track regressions across environments.
• Acting as a feedback loop to product and engineering—surfacing usability gaps and opportunities.
• Working directly with founders and customers to shape product direction and engineering strategy.
