Job summary

CD Newco LLC d/b/a Curve Dental is seeking a Data Conversion Specialist in Provo, UT. You will own the data move for new customers from kickoff to go-live, working with Implementation, Data Services, and Support to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

The role requires extracting, profiling, and transforming data from legacy systems, building mappings, and validating results. You’ll use SQL, Excel, and conversion tools, contributing to a smooth first experience for Curve Dental clients.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of data experience in a technical, analytical, or customer-facing role.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Detail-oriented with discipline to follow QA processes on every conversion.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple conversions and meet go-live dates.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own each conversion end to end from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Data Services, Implementation, and Customer Support teams to bring data into Curve.
• Extract data from legacy systems and profile/assess what to move and how.
• Build field mappings and test plans; secure customer approvals.
• Clean and transform data using SQL, Excel, and conversion tools; load into Curve.
• Verify conversions against source and move into production after QA.
• Document mapping decisions, exceptions, and approvals; keep CRM records up to date.
• Suggest tooling or automation to make conversions faster and more accurate.
• Support go-live conversions outside normal business hours.
