Job summary

Gerdau North America in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Business Support Analyst to coordinate scrap purchase and sales contracts, and support related processes for Metals Recycling.

You will collaborate with Recycling Commercial, Operations, Logistics and Accounting to deliver accurate results and exceed customer service expectations. The role reports to the Business Support Supervisor and emphasizes process improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related field experience preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Advanced Excel and SAP experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with customers and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for vendors / customers. Coordinate and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver an optimal customer experience.
• Build partnerships and maintain positive relationships; coordinate business and information; address inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with Recycling Commercial, Operations, Logistics and Accounting to provide accurate, timely results for customer service excellence.
• Validate pricing, process payables, reconcile statements; audit scrap tickets and coordinate with Shared Services.
• Facilitate periodic customer reviews and reconciliations; analyze requirements and share best practices.
