Job summary

C&O Sales is seeking an organized Lighting Project Manager to coordinate commercial and industrial lighting projects from order review through closeout, ensuring accurate orders, on-time deliveries, and responsive customer service.

You will collaborate with distributors, manufacturers, and internal teams to review quotations, submittals, and purchase orders, track schedules, resolve issues, and document closeout packages. Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders against quotations and approved submittals; resolve pricing, product, and quantity discrepancies.
• Prepare and track submittal packages and coordinate approvals.
• Collaborate with quotations and order entry teams to ensure a smooth project handoff.
• Verify manufacturer order acknowledgements, including specifications, pricing, quantities, and shipping details.
• Track production schedules, shipments, and deliveries; communicate updates and resolve delays.
• Coordinate warranty claims, product returns, and freight damage issues.
• Prepare Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and closeout documentation as required.
• Maintain accurate project records, notes, and follow-up reminders.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to interpret quotations, purchase orders, submittals, and technical product information.
• Clear communication and strong customer service skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating across teams.
• Professional office setting with frequent distributor and manufacturer interaction. Occasional travel may be required.
