McConnell & Associates, a leading employee-owned civil and sports construction company serving the Midwest, seeks a Project Manager in Kansas City, MO. This full-time, full-lifecycle role drives projects from business development and estimating through field execution and completion.

Ideal candidates will build long-term client relationships, solve field challenges, and manage profitable operations. The role demands leadership, strong communication, and availability for a 40–60 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to lead people, manage projects, and maintain strong work ethics.
• Valid driver's license with a relatively clean motor vehicle report.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work 40–60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project management, including scheduling, document control, and submittal processing.
• Develop project scopes, write specifications, perform estimating and budgeting, and manage client proposals.
• Obtain subcontract proposals, issue subcontracts, and procure jobsite materials.
• Provide regular status updates to clients and maintain thorough project documentation.
• Direct field operations, ensure safety protocols, and coordinate with field crews and superintendents.
