Job summary

All & Sundry, an Airtable consultancy, seeks Solutions Architects to own Airtable engagements from pre-sales to final handoff. You’ll scope feasibility, design architecture, build core solutions, and ensure clients can run the system independently.

You’ll manage multiple client projects in parallel, lead weekly reviews, mentor teammates, and contribute to a shared knowledge base. This remote-first role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive healthcare.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Airtable architecture and automation design.
• Ability to scope, estimate, and manage complex engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Join sales conversations as the technical voice. Scope feasibility live and show the client what's genuinely possible in Airtable.
• Run technical discovery: break deliverables into milestones, define acceptance criteria, estimate hours, and name the risks.
• Own the SOW. Nothing gets signed without your sign-off on feasibility and timeline.
• Flag unrealistic scope or timeline before it's committed. You have explicit authority to push back, even when it's a deal we want.
• Help win the work by turning a vague client ask into a concrete, credible plan.
• Own the architecture of every build: base structure, field types, interface design, automation logic, integration approach.
• Build the core of the solution yourself, and bring in builders for volume execution with enough context to work independently.
• QA all work before it reaches the client. You are accountable for what ships.
• Catch legacy or duplicative data patterns before they create downstream problems.
• Run several engagements at once, holding priorities and context across all of them.
• Lead client meetings at the project level: weekly stand-ups, milestone reviews, UAT walkthroughs.
• Run handoff and hyper-care. Don't exit until the client has the tools necessary to operate the system on their own.
• Mentor and unblock builders on your projects.
• Document architectural decisions so context travels with the project.
• Contribute new patterns and gotchas to the shared knowledge base.
• Clear the Head of Delivery's architecture and quality checkpoints at each milestone gate.
