Job summary

BackOps AI is seeking a Solutions Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area to own the technical relationship from discovery through go-live. You will lead technical demos, scope and run POC projects, and translate business problems into deployable architecture, coordinating with FDE when needed.

You will be responsible for crafting implementation plans, SOWs, and capabilities deliverables while managing timelines and stakeholders to drive first measurable value for customers.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in technical pre- or post-sales roles.
• Strong analytical and discovery skills to translate problems into architecture.
• Experience leading demos, POCs, and scoping with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical demos and POC execution tailored to workflow.
• Scope, configure, and deploy solutions with real data.
• Own project plan, timeline, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineering when needed.
• Communicate with executives and secure win-win outcomes.
