Job summary

Hashlist is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join a forward-thinking software engineering organization within a major global automotive OEM. The role focuses on end-to-end AI/ML solutions, from design and development to validation and production handoff, collaborating with product teams and the MLOps function.

Location is Auburn Hills, Michigan. Responsibilities include designing ML models, building data pipelines, and delivering production-ready AI systems across data, modelling, and software

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Practical experience deploying ML in production.
• Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries.
• Ability to bridge data, modelling and software concerns.
• Degree in engineering, computer science, or applied mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML models using structured, time-series, and unstructured data.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to engineering, quality, and product use cases.
• Build production-ready AI systems including data pipelines and inference services.
• Develop agentic solutions combining LLMs and other systems.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code and own tasks from design to deployment.
