End-to-End AI Deployment Engineer

Job summary

DataStrict is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to turn our platform into a customer-ready solution within highly regulated environments. You will own deployments end to end, integrating identity, data, and security tooling, while translating governance requirements into concrete, auditable policies.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement scalable deployments, advise on best practices, and travel to customer sites as needed to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent production shipping experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering, including customer-facing or deployment-heavy roles.
• Strong fundamentals with Python and at least one of Go, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience integrating software into enterprise environments: REST/gRPC, OAuth/OIDC, SSO, containers, Kubernetes, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Understanding of modern AI systems: LLMs, agents, RAG, and related tooling.
• Strong customer-facing communication and ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Own customer deployments end to end from integration to production trusted systems.
• Integrate DataStrict into complex enterprise environments: identity providers, data platforms, model stacks, security tooling.
• Translate governance and compliance requirements into concrete policies and verifiable implementations.
• Work through real-world problems across the stack in production-like contexts with tight timelines.
• Build integrations, connectors, SDKs, and tooling to speed deployments and repeatability.
• Be the technical voice in architecture reviews, security assessments, and go-live decisions.
• Feedback field signals to product/engineering to close gaps in the roadmap.
• Set deployment playbooks, reference architectures, and reusable patterns for the team.
