Job summary

AFB International is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to own the end-to-end AP process in a high-volume environment. You will perform 3-way matching, maintain accuracy, and build strong vendor relationships while improving AP workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in accounts payable, a solid GL understanding, and keen attention to detail. Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the role offers a stable, growth‑oriented environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong hands-on experience with 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
• Solid understanding of general ledger and accounting principles
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounts payable lifecycle from invoice receipt through payment
• Perform and maintain 3-way matching with precision and resolve discrepancies
• Process high volumes of invoices with >99% accuracy
• Investigate and resolve invoice, PO, and vendor discrepancies
• Maintain strong vendor relationships through clear, timely communication
• Monitor processing timelines and drive cycle-time improvements
• Ensure proper coding aligns with GL accounts and company policies
• Support month-end close activities including accruals and reconciliations
• Identify and implement process improvements within AP workflows
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and ensure internal-controls compliance
• Collaborate cross-functionally while taking independent ownership
